If comparing our fees to those of other centres please note that there are no extra fees payable (EXAMINATION FEES AND BASIC TEXTBOOKS ARE
INCLUDED). The only extra costs are for stationary, additional text books and materials (for all of which you should not need over £200), and (if appropriate) examination re-take fees of £50 per examination.
Please note also that, unlike many centres, we do not charge extra for visiting assessor's travel expenses (unless it is over 50 miles from the centre, or more than 3 visits
are needed.)
The full time course includes a 12 hr. paediatric first aid certificate and a child protection certificate. Part-time students are required to obtain these by an approved trainer before they complete their teaching practice. Students may make their own arrangements for these, or attend sessions at the Centre, at cost. All students are responbsible for any costs involved in obtaining CRB clearance, prior to working in a nursery school.
The registration fee (paid after the interview)is non-refundable. Tuition fees are not refundable after finalisation of the registration, on the second week of the first term.
Course modules are included in the course fees, but are copyright and do not provide a complete training by themselves, without tuition. Modules are for the students' personal use, and copying of the modules will render students liable for full course fees of those to whom the copies are issued.
